Slow Internet

my internets has been super slow for the last day or two.. its weird cause i can play games online with no lag nice and smooth but if i try to look at a youtube video or sometihng on this website it freezes every couple seconds to buffer.. also pages take twice as long as they should to load.ive never had this issue before.. i have high speed extreme internet so im assuming it could be some kind of virus or sometihng? anyone know a program that i can run that might fix this? without having to format my whole pc again would be nice.

funny you say that... i've been getting the same f'n thing too... I hit up a few pages to download a 22meg printer driver and it was taking me like 30-40 mins instead of like 5.

I guess we'll both have to call up rogers and see wtf is going on. I think my 1 year contract is done at the end of this month so i'm gonna check out the other opions. Give them a call for the hell of it, at least milk a half month credit... lord knows we both pay enough!!! :nightmare:

i think u were right wolf... all of a sudden its fine again.. i did download a shit load last month.. maybe i breached the cap so they cut me off for the rest of the month or something. if there is a limit on high speed extreme lol i dunno.

Bell does the same thing. If it uses common ports they screw you over. Gaming is never a problem for me but torrenting is a pain as well as web browsing. I recently started paying for usenet access. Best decision I ever made.
